This past weekend I celebrated my birthday and wanted to do something to enjoy the nice weather, as this past winter seemed like it would never end. Ever. My goal is to enjoy this summer as much as possible and never complain about being too hot.
Thanks to social media, someone recommended a catamaran style boat out of Buffalo called MoondanceCat. The boat takes you around Lake Erie for two hours and comes equipped with a (cash) bar and music for the low price of $20. In all of my 30-something years living in Niagara, I didn’t even know this existed and it was well worth it. I really need to get out more I guess . . .
We took the 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., time but it was still too early to see the sunset. Regardless, it was still beautiful and a fun time with good company. Everyone on the boat was extremely friendly and helpful.
If you do decide to do this, it looked like people did bring food on board, so next time I will be more prepared with snacks. I also have a very smart friend who brought some Gravol for those of us who needed it.
Between dancing and chanting people’s names, I didn’t even take any pictures. Having too much fun isn’t the worst reason for not taking pictures.
If you are looking for something fun to do this summer, check them out at MoondanceCat
